Gary Campbell taking a break in his own
meadow. | Gary Campbell is
the principal of Campbell Natural Landscape Design. He holds a B.S.
degree in Horticulture from Temple University as well as a B.S. in
Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University. Gary's long-time
interest in the natural environment led to his leaving a successful
engineering design and management career to pursue his dream of
helping homeowners integrate an environmentally friendly aspect into
their landscapes. His senior thesis at Temple was an in-depth
analysis of the viability of natural landscaping for modest sized
residential lots.
Since 1998 Gary has honed his skills and
experience executing numerous designs for the region's premier
practitioner of natural landscapes as well as for his own clients.
Gary is an associate member of the Association of Professional
Landscape Designers and has been published in their newsletter. He
wrote a regular newsletter column profiling native plants for his
local Audubon chapter. He also lectures on meadows, natural
landscaping and residential home landscape design, including at the
Millersville Native Plant Conference and the Morris Arboretum's
Landscape Design Series. | |
